Priscilla Blossom

• Born and raised in Miami, Priscilla grew up exploring all of what Florida had to offer, from the beaches and theme parks to the food scene and the Everglades.
• She moved to Denver, Colorado over a decade ago, where she spends her days visiting museums, book stores and libraries, theaters, parks, and restaurants.
• Her first trip abroad was to Nicaragua to visit her family's home country. Among her favorite moments of the trip are looking into the crater of the active Volcan Masaya, eating fresh quesillos on the side of the road in Nagarote, boating in San Juan del Sur, and relaxing in a beachside hammock in Pochomil.

Priscilla Blossom is a journalist, content writer, and essayist focusing on the intersections of travel, arts and culture, wellness, family, and identity. Her travel writing has appeared in Lonely Planet, Fodors, USA Today's 10Best, Business Insider, Parents, GO Magazine, Viator, The Advocate, and many others. She has traveled the U.S. extensively, including spending a four-month stint couchsurfing with strangers from NYC through the Midwest and down to New Orleans. She blends that knowledge with her life experience as a queer Latina mother to highlight diverse and sometimes overlooked points of interest.

Education

Priscilla earned a bachelor's degree in anthropology while at the University of Miami. She also minored in English with a focus on creative writing.
