Based in Toronto, Christine Estima is an author, freelance writer, playwright, and spoken word artist. She has wowed audiences at many live storytelling events, like The Moth, Spark London, Raconteurs, True Stories Told Live, Grownups Read Things They Wrote as Kids, and more. She has covered the Toronto International Film Festival, North by Northeast, and Canadian Music Week. She has judged major journalism awards like the Digital Publishing Awards, the National Magazine Awards, and the AJAC Journalism Awards. Her work has appeared in some of the world's most prestigious publications, like The New York Times, The Globe and Mail, The Walrus, VICE, The Toronto Star, CBC, Fodor's, and many more.

Education

Christine holds a master's degree in interdisciplinary studies from York University; she double-majored theatre and creative writing for her bachelor's degree.
