These Dazzling Shops On The Las Vegas Strip Offer A Luxurious Escape From The Casinos

Over the past few decades, Las Vegas has done well to diversify the types of activities that the city has to offer. From sporting events to museums to concert residencies, there are plenty of things to do in Las Vegas that aren't gambling. Another thing that makes the city such an exciting destination is its shopping opportunities. Some of the shops in Vegas feature brands sold in few other places across the United States, while others are truly one-of-a-kind.

While the Las Vegas Strip is famous for its themed hotel casinos, its huge shopping malls add to the street's intrigue. One of the most eye-catching of these is The Shops at Crystals. The building's sleek geometric exterior sporting Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, and other luxury brand logos gives you a taste of what you'll find inside.

There are more than 50 luxury brand stores at Crystals. Plus, given that Las Vegas offers the best fine dining options in America, stick around for a meal here, too. The building's fine dining selection includes gourmet seafood at Mastro's Ocean Club and Mexican cuisine at Toca Madera.

Shopping at the Strip's hotel casinos

All of the aforementioned brands are also found in some of the iconic hotel casinos that line the Las Vegas Strip. Wander through the Bellagio Resort & Casino, Wynn Las Vegas, Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort, The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, and more to combine Strip sightseeing with luxury shopping.

Keep your eye out for unique, high-end stores throughout these buildings as well. For example, Field of Dreams sells autographed memorabilia from sports jerseys to movie props. Past items featured signatures from A-listers like Sylvester Stallone and Dean Martin. Other must-visit stores include the Regis Gallery and its opulent fine art and Maceoo Paris, where you can create your own fragrance.

If luxury shopping isn't quite within your budget, head to Fashion Show Las Vegas across from Wynn Las Vegas. At this huge three-story shopping center, you'll find mall staples like Macy's, Aerie, Guess, Hot Topic, and more than 250 additional retailers and casual restaurants here. Be sure to stop by The Great Hall too, as it often hosts special events or art displays to enjoy as you peruse the shops.

Shop for vintage clothing and antiques in Las Vegas

Another reason why you should add a shopping spree to your Las Vegas itinerary is that it can give you a break from the Strip's crowded sidewalks and casinos (and the heat if you're visiting Sin City during the summer). In fact, the heat is a big reason why walking along the Strip is something you might want to avoid entirely during the daytime. Thankfully, you can duck into The Shops at Crystals, Fashion Show Las Vegas, or the shopping sections of the Strip's hotel casinos.

Shopping doesn't begin and end with the Strip, however. For a Vegas shopping experience that isn't all luxury brands and shopping mall settings, check out the Arts District (also known as 18b). The Arts District is slightly north of the Strip, but still accessible by the Deuce On The Strip bus route, a 24-hour transport service operated by the Regional Transportation Commission.

There are handfuls of vintage clothing and antique stores all within walking distance of each other here. This is an especially memorable shopping experience for those who want to get glimpses of Sin City's Americana past. Notable places include Rockin Bettie, Glam Factory Vintage, and The Red Kat Vintage.
