  • Mina enjoys traveling to see animals in their native environments, from birdwatching in Olympic National Park to hiking to see wild snow monkeys in Nagano, Japan.
  • She is an annual volunteer for the DEC, assisting in frog migrations.
  • Living between several major trails and Constitution Marsh Audubon Center and Sanctuary, Mina has the opportunity to hike and observe nature in all seasons.


Mina Elwell has been a freelance writer since 2017, writing comic book series, articles, and the occasional game. After working in television for several years, she transitioned to writing comic books, including "InferNoct" for Scout Comics and "Hellicious" for Starburns Industries Press. Mina has been interviewed about comics, horror, and storytelling by PreviewsWorld and Monkeys Fighting Robots and on podcasts including "Horror DNA" and "The Pop Culture Experience."


Mina Elwell graduated with a BFA from the School of Visual Arts.
