Experience
Tosh has had an extensive, 13 year career within the advertising industry as a National Sales Coordinator. She's had a long run working for mainstream newspaper publications such as The Toronto Star, Metro Free Daily, as well as The National Post. Her passion for traveling was sparked in 2014 when she took her first solo trip to Norway for her 30th birthday and was hooked on traveling since. In 2016, she started her travel blog, Where In The World Is Tosh, as a creative outlet for her writing and photography. She specializes in writing about solo travel, as well as providing in-depth travel guides to countries that she's visited around the world, which is around 20 countries and counting. Tosh also has an unbridled passion for motorcycles and has been an avid biker for over 17 years. Most recently, she's explored Mauritius and Reunion Island by motorcycle, and she looks for an adrenaline rush any chance she can. She joined Static Media as a writer for Explore in 2025. When Tosh isn't crafting up blog posts about her travels, she can often be found daydreaming about new places to explore and purchasing travel guide books to places she has yet to visit.
Education
Tosh has an Advertising Diploma from Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario.
