California's New Beverly Hills Hotel Opening In 2028 Boasts Botanical Gardens And Luxury

Southern California is no stranger to opulence and luxury, and Los Angeles County is home to some of the most glamorous neighborhoods, and hotels, in the United States. Bel-Air has its multi-million dollar estates and Malibu has its celebrity hot-spots, breathtaking coastal views, and sandy beaches, but Beverly Hills might be the most iconic neighborhood of them all. It's home to dozens of A-list celebrities, Billionaire's Row with wildly extravagant estates, and Rodeo Drive, which offers some of the best luxury shopping in the world.

If you're looking for luxurious accommodations in Beverly Hills, there are already a handful of excellent 5-star hotels to choose from, but in 2028 a brand new hotel called Aman Beverly Hills is scheduled to open. It will offer 78 spacious suites, acres of lush botanical gardens, and a chic address that is close to everything the City of Angels has to offer. It seems as though the team behind the hotel aims to make it one of the most glamorous properties in the neighborhood.

The Aman Beverly Hills hotel will be part of the new One Beverly Hills development, a high-rise project near the intersection of Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards that is designed to serve as a luxury community. Along with the hotel, there will be private residences and a club. Some of the dwellings within the skyscraper will be more like mansions, and the penthouse is predicted to be 25,000 square feet.

Aman Resorts is an ultra-upscale hospitality group that currently operates 35 different hotels and resorts in 20 countries across the globe. The extravagant resorts are renowned for their chic modern designs, and they have some of the most beautiful hotel lobbies around the world. According to the company's website, the One Beverly Hills development is a perfect fit for the Aman brand. "With pedestrian walkways and flourishing native flora woven throughout, One Beverly Hills effortlessly aligns with Aman's vision of an urban oasis," the website states. "The residences rest at the heart of the development, providing private social spaces — from secluded dining venues to tranquil botanical gardens — that enhance the feeling of sanctuary in the city."

The property will feature over eight acres of botanical gardens, which could allow guests and residents to feel immersed in the tranquility of nature even though they're just a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of world-renowned destinations like Rodeo Drive.

Kerry Hill Architects, an award-winning practice that is headquartered in Singapore and Australia, will be in charge of designing the hotel, the residences, and the club. Kerry Hill Architects has also worked on other Aman properties, including the Aman Kyoto property in Japan. RIOS, a global design collective focused on landscape architecture, urban planning, interior design, and architecture will be in charge of designing the grounds of One Beverly Hills. Some of the botanical gardens will be reserved for residents, hotel guests, and club members, while a slightly larger section will be open to the general public.

According to the Aman website, the hotel will open sometime in 2028. The per night prices haven't been announced yet, but rooms at Aman New York hotel start at around $2,600 per night. If other Aman hotels are any example, a stay at the Aman Beverly Hills will cost at least a few thousand dollars. Based on early design renderings, it might be totally worth the splurge.

Beverly Hills is located about 15 miles from Los Angeles International Airport. Hollywood Burbank Airport is about the same distance. Either one works if you're planning on visiting the new Aman Beverly Hills when it opens.
