The magic comes to life as the train makes its way along the route, while twinkling lights glisten among the trees. Scott McGhee, General Manager for the Sugar Pine Railroad mentioned how thrilled he is to finally offer the much anticipated winter ride. "The guests and customers have been asking for a holiday train for years, and we finally decided that 2025 is the year to make that happen."

Nostalgic vibes can be felt aboard the much loved Shay steam engine as it chugs along the railroad towards Lewis Creek Amphitheater. Along with a cup of hot cocoa to keep your hands toasty and warm, guests will also be treated to Christmas music and carols as they make core holiday memories with loved ones. Furry family members are also welcome aboard, and the Holiday Magic Train is accessibility-friendly, so anyone can enjoy the journey.
