Schedule the ideal time to visit

During foggy mornings, the observation deck is literally above the clouds, offering you really neat photo opportunities.
However, if you're a bit scared of heights and prefer a less crowded observation deck, you may appreciate visiting during non-prime hours. To avoid peak times, consider scheduling a visit early in the morning, during mid-afternoon hours, or after the sun sets.

If you're a fan of light bites and mind-boggling views, consider grabbing a snack at The Lounge, which serves canapes, teas, coffees, and house beverages. For art and fashion enthusiasts, it's worth visiting the lobbies of the Armani Hotel and The Residence at Burj Khalifa. Designed by Giorgio Armani, the lobby of the Armani Hotel is unsurprisingly opulent and chic, while the art installation in the lobby of The Residence is also worth seeing. Designed by artist Jaume Plensa, the lobby features a sculpture with 196 cymbals, representing the 196 countries of the world.
And we'd be remiss if we didn't mention that traveling from floor to floor inside the Burj Khalifa is also a pretty cool experience. Burj Khalifa features some of the world's fastest elevators, moving visitors up and down the building at nearly 33 feet per second.

After touring Burj Khalifa, the area around the mega-structure is also worth exploring. The building is surrounded by the meticulously manicured green spaces of Burj Park as well as the Dubai Fountain. In the park, you'll find contemporary sculptures and plenty of places to sit and relax.
If you're looking for something a bit more bustling, check out Dubai Mall. If you've finished visiting Burj Khalifa, then you've already walked through the mall, as it's the only way to access Burj Khalifa. In fact, the focal point of the massive mall is the popular Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, one of the world's biggest aquariums.
