Sam Stone is an entertainment journalist and pop culture analyst living just outside of Washington, D.C., after growing up on a steady diet of Star Trek, Nintendo, and DC Comics. After working freelance for Image Comics' preview magazine Image+, Sam has gone to work as an associate writer at CBR and a feature writer at Looper. Writing for these outlets, Sam has written columns, reviews, interviews for film, television, comic books, and video games for millions of readers worldwide. In his free time, Sam continues to play guitar poorly and Street Fighter marginally worse than his musical ability.


With a graduate degree in Global Affairs, with a focus on media, following an undergraduate career that took him around the world, Sam Stone brings an international focus to the biggest pop culture franchises. Sam also holds an undergraduate degree in Communication Studies, with an emphasis on media criticism and rhetoric that helps him deconstruct and analyze everything from television and film to comics and video games.
