  • As Sam's expertise has grown, he has traveled to cover pop culture events nationwide, including Comic-Con International in San Diego and New York Comic-Con, as an interviewer, moderator, and panelist.
  • His favorite part about writing for SlashFilm is the balance he's able to strike between covering newer film and television projects with the older and more obscure movies and shows he has long admired, be it Japanese horror movies or gripping K-dramas.

Experience

Sam studied abroad extensively in Europe and Latin America during college and graduate school.
Throughout his life, Sam has toured the United States exhaustively, traveling to most of the individual states.
In addition to traveling, Sam has experienced numerous excursions, from riding horses around the Grand Canyon, hiking to Machu Picchu, and snorkeling in the Bahamas.

Education

Sam has earned an undergraduate degree in communication studies from Christopher Newport University. Sam has also earned a graduate degree in Global Affairs from George Mason University.
