Le Marais is located right in the heart of Paris on the right bank of the River Seine in the 4th Arrondissement. It's one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Paris and is home to historic architecture, charming cobblestone streets, and incredible shopping. If you enjoy hunting for the best finds, you'll love browsing through the shops on Rue de la Verrerie in search of vintage treasures and gently used designer clothes. Vintage and secondhand shops, which are called "friperies" in French, are plentiful.

Free'P'Star is one of the best shops on the street. According to Marisa Jackels, a fashion and travel blogger, the quirky vintage shop "ROCKS". There are two levels and plenty of fun pieces at affordable prices. "The store is definitely not as clean or organized as some of the others, but it had some of the BEST deals we found. My personal favorite was a chunky yellow knit sweater which is now a favorite part of my wardrobe," she wrote.

Vintage by Ramin has a good selection of vintage and secondhand clothes, including designer pieces. According to Google reviews, the shop has some great affordable finds. "I found the most amazing jacket for only 5€. The most expensive item will be under 15€," customer Jason Mathews wrote in his review.

Kilo Shop has a few locations throughout Paris, but the shop on Rue de la Verrerie is one of the best. "This shop is a magical place where clothes are paid for by how much they weigh! Granted, some of them still can come out to a pretty average price — but it's possible to find some incredible deals," Marisa wrote on her Medium blog.

The clothing is all marked with a colored tag that indicates the price per kilo. To find out how much an item costs you'll have to place it in one of the many scales scattered throughout the store. It's an interesting way to shop because you won't be as influenced by an item's price tag — what really dictates its worth is how much you like it. Expect to see all sorts of clothing and accessories. You can find leather handbags for just 20 Euros according to a TikTok video posted by loveandparis. Kilo Store Kawaii is another shop with a similar concept, but the store is organized based on current trends and seasons, so you may find it easier to find styles that are popular.
