The easiest way to reach the resort is by flying into Asheville Regional Airport, about a 30-minute drive from the resort. Choose to rent a car for flexibility, as the resort is a short 20-minute drive from downtown Asheville, where there is much to explore. The best time to visit Junebug is from April to October, during opening hours. Spring, from April to June, or fall from September to October, offer the mildest temperatures and vibrant spring blooms or fall leaf peeping opportunities. The resort thrives in the summer as well, when creek-side hangs are more than welcome.

Its fleet of 10 meticulously restored vintage campers, including models like the Pink Shasta, the Airflyte, and the Spartan Tandem, features checkered floors, chrome accents, and colorful vinyl seating. Each camper sleeps two to six guests, is equipped with air conditioning, a bathroom, refrigerator, and hot and cold running water, seamlessly blending retro aesthetics with modern comfort. Tent camping is also available if the trailers are booked, and all camper rentals include daytime access to the resort's enchanting treehouse from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Walnut Cove, the main ceremony area, hosts up to 150 guests under a massive walnut tree canopy next to Flat Creek, with a high-top tent, a dance floor, and a 1/3 acre of flower fields perfect for wedding photos. The charming treehouse serves as a unique micro-wedding space, accommodating up to 22 guests for intimate ceremonies amidst treetops, and complete with a ground-level cocktail area and fire pit. Both venues allow customization with trusted vendors. Packages include catering options, floral options, and more, ensuring a stress-free celebration.
