When you think of dining in Las Vegas, you likely think of wow-worthy restaurants, jaw-dropping interiors, finely plated dishes of gourmet cuisine, and celebrity chefs. And you're not wrong. Especially on the Las Vegas Strip, more than 40 eateries are graced by the names of famed chefs. Inside the opulent casinos, you'll find eateries of varied sizes, specialties, aesthetics, and treatments. To try them, check out these iconic restaurants for your Las Vegas foodie bucket list. However, there's more to Las Vegas' dining scene than Michelin stars, James Beard Awards, and stacks of dollar bills.
As one of the top foodie cities in the United States, Las Vegas cuisine spans a wide range of cultures and price points. (Pro tip: request this secret menu item Las Vegas tourists on a budget should order.) For tourists watching their wallets, this means Las Vegas knows how to make a mean sandwich. Explore rounded up the best sandwich restaurants in the city, ranging from the outpost of a Florentine legend to a cheesesteak joint straight from Philly. We chose these eateries based on which had the highest ratings on sites like Tripadvisor and Google — at least 4 stars — and the most reviews — a minimum of 150. We also considered the uniqueness of each sandwich spot and those that had the most one-of-a-kind offerings worth standing in line for. Here's what we found.
All'Antico Vinaio
In Florence, Italy, breads, cheeses, and meats are no joke. And since All'Antico Vinaio became famous in the city after opening in 1991 under the Mazzanti family, you can trust that its sandwiches are show-stopping. With a location in Las Vegas at 8533 Rozita Lee Avenue, Suite 100, even those in Sin City can enjoy what Saveur magazine has called "home of the world's best sandwiches." The shop has also been dubbed as one of the best spots for street food on the planet.
All'Antico Vinaio's sandwiches start with schiacciata bread, which is baked on-site every day and piled with fresh Italian ingredients. Customers can see those ingredients in a temperature-controlled showcase and watch a vintage deli slicer slice its meats. Just a few of the sandwiches worth waiting in line for include La Schiacciata del Boss with prosciutto, pecorino, and truffle cream and La Favolosa with salami, pecorino cream, artichoke cream, and spicy eggplant. Although some of the sandwiches on the menu at All'Antico Vinaio cost $20, many are so massive you can save half for your next meal.
With a little over 300 reviews on Google, All'Antico Vinaio has earned 4.2 stars. As one past visitor wrote on Google, "This Italian sandwich shop is a hidden gem, offering delicious focaccia bread sandwiches that are truly worth the visit. While it's slightly off the main strip, the fresh ingredients and variety of options make it well worth the detour."
Baguette Café
All'Antico Vinaio isn't the only sandwich shop offering a taste of Europe in Las Vegas. Baguette Café is an authentic French destination in the Centra Point Retail Shops co-owned by French-born chefs Lucien and Claudie Brouillet and their son, Olivier Brouillet. The elder Brouillets have had illustrious careers in several French dining destinations, and the younger Brouillet has worked with renowned chefs like Joel Robuchon and Thomas Keller. They opened Baguette Café in 2009; it's been a popular Vegas spot since then. With baguettes, croissants, and pastries baked fresh every day, how could it not be?
The Brouillets, who have been in the food business for four generations, offer sandwiches such as The Ham with Paris ham, cornichon, mixed greens, tomato, Swiss cheese, and mustard. Another favorite is The Blue Brie, which has apple, walnut, celery, blue cheese, brie, mustard, and a choice of meat. Vegan sandwiches are also available. Your cup o' joe from the Baguette Café is bound to be equally as tasty, as it only uses the best beans for every brew.
The sandwiches are so good that Baguette Café has been named the best sandwich shop in Nevada by Chowhound. Customers love it just as much since the café has earned 4.8 stars on Google from over 1,400 Google reviews. One past visitor shared on Google, "The food is consistently fresh, excellently tasty and the service is very personal. My husband has become addicted even though we live about 20 miles away."

Bronze Café
Whether you're vegan or are simply in the mood for a delicious sandwich, you'll find a gold star-worthy — forget the bronze — sandwich at the Bronze Café. Located at 2380 North Buffalo Drive, Suite 110, the Bronze Café offers plenty of vegan (and meaty) options thanks to chef Peter Bastien. On your way there, follow these tips on how to find parking in Las Vegas without paying fees.
One of the favorites at the Bronze Café is the piled-high Complicated Order with roasted turkey slices, roasted bacon strips, house-made bacon jam, avocado, spring mix, tomato, cucumber, basil aioli, and lemon vinaigrette. Another winner is the Chickpea Toona Melt with house-made chickpea "tuna" salad, melted Chao Field Roast vegan cheese, avocado, alfalfa sprouts, tomato, shaved red onion, basil aioli, and lemon vinaigrette. Follow up your sandwich with an escape into nature at this otherworldly state park near Las Vegas.
With more than 400 reviews on Google, the Bronze Café has earned 4.7 stars. "So I found this gem here and I'm never letting it go," one past visitor wrote on Google. "Great options for everyone. Delicious fresh ingredients and vegetables. Staff is always helpful and friendly."
Capriotti's Sandwich Shop
Capriotti's Sandwich Shop has over 175 locations in the U.S. It operates from Las Vegas and has been a staple on the culinary scene since 1976, when brother-and-sister duo Lois and Alan Margolet founded it. No matter which of the many Las Vegas outposts of the shop you head to, you can sample the Bobbie, which is Capriotti's Sandwich Shop's version of a gobbler sandwich. It includes slow-roasted turkey prepared on-site, cranberry sauce, handmade stuffing, and mayonnaise. The sandwich is so good that it was voted the best in the city by Las Vegas Weekly readers in 2024. It's also been called the best sandwich in the country by AOL.com readers.
Even if Thanksgiving fare isn't your thing, you'll find killer subs and cheesesteaks at Capriotti's Sandwich Shop. Another popular option is the Cheesesteak BLT with grilled steak, caramelized onions, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. Capriotti's Sandwich Shop has 4.2 stars on Google, thanks to over 560 reviews. One past customer wrote on Google, "Food was amazing! I got "The Bobbie" and a bbq chicken salad! Omg it was love in my mouth! I appreciate [whoever] made the decision to create this sandwich! Service was great as well."
Cheba Hut Toasted Subs
The vice of choice in Las Vegas is traditionally a cocktail, but Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs spotlights a marijuana theme at its four Sin City locations and beyond. A Colorado-based sandwich chain, Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs is a tongue-in-cheek take on post-marijuana munchies. Every sandwich option is named after a different strain of the plant, and photos of celebrities known for their cannabis consumption are used as table markers. But don't get it twisted. There is no marijuana in the food, and even if you've never had a whiff of weed in your life, you're welcome to eat here.
One of the sandwiches you can choose from includes the Jamaican Red with grilled chicken, hot sauce, jalapeño, green bell pepper, black olive, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and Shake & House dressing. Another popular sandwich is the Chronic with roast beef, BBQ sauce, green bell pepper, mushrooms, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and Shake & House dressing.
With over 1,500 reviews on Google, Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs has earned 4.8 stars. One past visitor wrote on Google, "I found Cheba Hut about a month ago and it was truly the best sandwich I've ever had. Since last month I've been here probably 10 times and brought friends and family and they love it now as well. The sandwiches are phenomenal and the staff are always so nice and friendly. I enjoy talking to all of them. Great environment, great people, I love this place."
Ike's Love & Sandwiches
Ike's Love & Sandwiches was founded in San Francisco in 2007, but now, it has two Las Vegas locations. Founded by Ike Shehadeh, the Las Vegas stores have offerings that are unique from the rest and pay homage to the city's famous figures. Plus, the sandwich hubs offer vegan, Halal, and gluten-free options. One of the most beloved sandwiches on the menu is the Matt Cain with roast beef, beef salami, turkey, Godfather sauce, and provolone. ESPN readers named it the best sports sandwich.
Another favorite is the Menage A Trois with Halal chicken, honey mustard, BBQ sauce, honey, pepper jack, Swiss cheese, and cheddar cheese. It's been deemed one of the 100 things to eat before you die by a publication. The acclaimed sandwiches are a happy ending to the sandwich shop that began when Shehadeh had the humble wish to feed people and escape the corporate world.
With more than 160 reviews on Google, Ike's Love & Sandwiches has earned 4.2 stars. One past visitor wrote on Google, "What a lucky find!!! I stopped in because I needed a quick bite and there wasn't much else close by. I'm so glad I did! Ike's makes a fantastic sandwich. On the surface it looks like another big brand sub shop knockoff but if you give them a try, you'll see very quickly that they're different. I've been back a couple times since my first visit and plan to be a regular!"
Lardo
Not many casual sandwich shops are run by Culinary Institute of America-trained chefs, but Lardo is. The food cart-turned-sandwich shop was founded in Portland in 2010 by Rick Gencarelli, who attended the storied New York City culinary school. It takes its meat seriously, as it's known for sandwiches like the Pork Meatball Banh Mi and the Korean Pork Shoulder. That's also where Lardo gets its name. Lardo is a variety of salume created by curing pieces of fat with several herbs and spices. To go with all of that delectable meat, the sandwich shop also serves craft beer. Walk off all that meat and beer at these Las Vegas attractions offering the best outdoor activities.
The shop has an outpost in the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, which is its only location outside of its Portland home. Lardo has over 280 reviews on Google that culminate in 4.4 stars. "The menu has a fun, creative vibe, and the portions are generous," one past visitor wrote on Google. "If you're looking for something indulgent and full of flavor, Lardo won't let you down. Great spot for a casual bite with big flavor."
P.O.P.S.
P.O.P.S., which stands for "Pride of Philly Steaks," was founded in Las Vegas in 2002 when Perry Walton was missing authentic Philadelphia cheesesteaks after he moved to Sin City. Now, it's run by his daughter, Christina Walton. The sandwich spot on the corner of Decatur and Alta serves tons of cheesesteak options, including the most popular number 32.
This classic Philly cheesesteak includes shaved ribeye, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and the customer's choice of cheese on an Amoroso roll baked in Philadelphia. It also offers cheesesteaks with a twist, such as the buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Plus, its cheesesteaks are available whenever you get a craving, as it's open all day and night, every day of the year. The cheesesteaks are so good that P.O.P.S. was the gold winner of the Best of Las Vegas competition hosted by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Customers enjoy a whopping 2,000 cheesesteaks every week. That includes the more than 5,900 customers who have rated P.O.P.S. 4.4 stars on Google. One past visitor wrote on Google, "Stopping at Pop's is always a treat for us. While it may not be the healthiest option, it's definitely the most indulgent and delicious Philly cheesesteak in the city. When we visited today, we ordered one pastrami sandwich, one classic Philly cheesesteak with onions and deep-fried mushrooms, and sweet potato fries. Everything was exceptional, and we were so glad we stopped by."
Proper Sandwich Company
Proper Sandwich Company founder and Chicago native Phil Park has a fine dining background from when he worked at Guy Savoy and Caesar's. But clearly, he couldn't get Chicago out of him. Paying homage to the city where the best food is between bread, Park opened Proper Sandwich Company in 2020. He brought his upscale hospitality background with him. His sandwich shop on Rainbow Boulevard is all about high-quality ingredients, as its meats are sourced from specialty purveyors. It also makes its sauces in-house.
The sandwich spot has even been visited by celebrity chef Michael Mina. One of the most popular options at Proper Sandwich Company is the Italian hoagie featuring ingredients like spicy coppa ham, jambon de Paris, and giardiniera, which Park makes himself. A classic Chicago Italian beef sandwich with house-roasted prime beef, Park's giardiniera, and au jus on French bread is also on the menu.
Proper Sandwich Company has earned 4.7 stars on Google from more than 250 reviews. Wrote one past visitor on Google, "OMG!!! My coworker just bought me a sandwich for lunch. I couldn't even finish eating it without coming to say how delicious it is ... I will definitely add this to my list of favorite sandwich places."
Saginaw's Delicatessen
For decades, Paul Saginaw was behind the sandwich powerhouse brand Zingerman's Deli. The acclaimed deli has been called one of the best sandwich shops on the planet. But Saginaw went out on his own with Saginaw's Delicatessen, which has been inside Circa Resort since it opened in 2020. It's a dream for Saginaw, as he always wanted to work in the Las Vegas restaurant industry. He brought his dining prowess with him, as the deli offers sandwiches that are just as tasty as they are massive.
One of the most popular sandwiches on the menu is the Royal Flush Reuben, which includes corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and house-made Russian dressing on rye bread. And since the shop is open 24/7, you can get a sandwich whenever a craving hits. Circa Resort guests can also have Saginaw's Delicatessen deli breakfast sandwiches served with fruits and a doughnut delivered to their rooms from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
From more than 550 Google reviews, Saginaw's Delicatessen has earned 4 stars. "Eating here is a MUST," wrote one customer on Google. "I ordered the Royal Flush Rueben and taking the first bite was like stepping back in time to the days when high quality sandwiches were in every deli. It has a nostalgic feel, complete with early rock and Motown on the speakers. Original Vegas. You can imagine Ace Rothstein, Hunter Thompson, or Nicky Santoro sitting in this exact spot eating this food. Wonderful."
Schlotzsky's
Schlotzsky's started with just one $2.95 sandwich in Austin, Texas, when the shop was founded in 1971. But it was so good that it spurred more than 300 U.S. locations, including one in Las Vegas at 5119 West Charleston. Inspired by the New Orleans muffuletta, Schlotzsky's gigantic Original Sandwich included three types of meat, cheeses, lettuce, tomato, olives, and herb dressing on a sourdough bun. Today, it's exactly the same. Founders Don and Delores Dissman named their shop Schlotzsky's simply because they thought it sounded suitable with that iconic sandwich. Now, Schlotzsky's also offers other popular sandwiches such as the turkey bacon club, chicken fiesta, and beef bacon smokecheesy.
Through more than 1,300 reviews, Schlotzsky's has earned 4.5 stars on Google. One past visitor wrote on Google, "One of the best and most unique sandwich shops I've been in town! I put off this review for way too long. I've been here twice and don't see me ever stopping ... If you're looking for a new sandwich place to try, I highly recommend Schlotzkys!"
Methodology
As one of the best culinary havens in the nation, you can find just about any type of food in Sin City. They're served at some of the coolest restaurants to try in Las Vegas. But all that delectable food made our job of choosing the best Las Vegas sandwich restaurants challenging (but delicious). So, we turned to those who know them best — their customers.
We took to reviewing sites such as Google and Tripadvisor to see which eateries known for sandwiches had the highest reviews, with at least 4 stars. However, some of the spots on this list far surpass that, like Baguette Café, which has an eye-popping 4.8 stars. We also considered which sandwich joints had the most reviews, as every eatery on this list has more than 150 reviews. Some even have feedback in the thousands, like P.O.P.S., which has been reviewed by more than 5,900 customers.
Finally, we evaluated which restaurants stood out based on their offerings and ethos. For example, there aren't many casual sandwich joints like Lardo, run by a Culinary Institute of America-trained chef. All'Antico Vinaio is also an anomaly, as it's been called the "home of the best sandwiches in the world" by one of the most storied culinary magazines. Once you gamble a few too many dollars away on your trip to Vegas, you know these sandwich shops, affordable compared to the big-name eateries, will still have you saying, "Wow."
