Top All-Mountain Skis 2013: Salomon Rockette 90
SALOMON ROCKETTE 90
Pretty much the same ski as the unisex Rocker 90—only with sexier graphics and slightly smaller, women-specific dimensions—the versatile Rockette can get around, but she's a bit more comfortable in the outback pow than most all-mountain sticks. This, thanks to a wide waist (shhhh!) and rocker tail and tip. Beginners testing their limits will love this ski, which is buttery smooth in the soft stuff and effortlessly carves resort groomers. Both SKI (Gold Medal Gear) and Skiing (Tester's Choice) loved this addition to the Rocker 2 line, and we coudn't agree more.
Best For: Backcountry newbs looking to push their limits.
