Live Video: World Climbing Championships

Rock climbing's best indoor competitors are gathering in Paris this week, along with 15,000 spectators, for the IFSC World Climbing Championship 2012.  If you can't join them at the Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy for the competitions—we wish we could, but non—you can check out the live webcast at the International Federation of Sport Climbing's website.

Featured events include the women's lead qualifiers from 12pm to 6pm local time Wednesday or the back-to-back stream of the female bouldering semifinals and the men's lead semifinals starting at 10am on Thursday. You can also see the most recent addition to the world championships–paraclimbing–in the event's finals from 2pm to 6pm Friday. For a complete schedule, including weekend competitions, check out the IFSC calendar.

If you don't want to wake up early to catch an event live, you can check out replays of the videos on the IFSC's YouTube page.
