Video: Surfing Sandy From Start To Finish In Florida

We all know about the devastating destruction that Hurricane Sandy wrought on places from the Jersey Shore to NYC—but surfers also know about the crazy swell and pounding surf that it delivered to the entire East Coast. In Florida, where Sandy didn't make landfall but delivered some of the heaviest waves of the season—the kind that really only come with a major storm—videographer Mike Risick captured the stoke side of Sandy's effect. While the video starts in smaller waves, the surf just gets heavier and heavier as the video goes on—really chronicling from the start of the storm to its height.

Warning: Especially at the beginning, this video contains swearing, and an unfortunate (hey, I'm a woman) emphasis on T+A.
