VIDEO: Ice Climbing In Michigan

When we think about ice climbing in the U.S., it's usually higher elevation zones such as the Rockies.  But when temperatures drop in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, some adventurous locals head out to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and other areas. With an ice climbing season that sometimes lasts from November through May, there is plenty of time to explore the shoreline and low mountains near Lake Superior.
