Alabama – Orange Beach

Orange Beach is an ideal destination for a romantic couple like also likes to stay active. It's perfect for beach hikes and kayaking. Go on a date and take a ride on the Ferris wheel on The Wharf. After that compete at who is better in mini-golfing on Adventure Island. Or you can learn a new craft together – the art center offers painting classes. Those of you who like to be on the water go on a cruise watching dolphins.

Alaska – Fairbanks

Connecticut – Mystic

Delaware – Rehoboth Beach

Take your significant other on a date and remember what it's like to be a kid at the water park and mini-golf course at Jungle Jim's. Lined with diverse shops, restaurants, and amusements, the boardwalk is a fun destination as well. Many love it for its amazing food and various sweet treats, too. Florida – Amelia Island

Amelia Island consists of 13 miles of pristine beaches. Go for a walk on the beach with your family, take up a new water sport or just lay out in the sun. Georgia – Savannah

It is home to art galleries, boutiques, antique stores, museums, and restaurants.  Walk to its end to the gorgeous historic stone bridge, the site of the annual River Suite.  It is close to the so called "Flint Hills Scenic Byway," known as one of the eight wonders of Kansas.

Kentucky – Louisville

True, the guys may enjoy the bourbon capital of the world more, but it's definitely a fun getaway for all. If you like to know more about this unique American beverage, this is the place to go. Visit distilleries and participate in several tastings so you can get feel the authenticity of each final product. Explore the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and you'll get an idea of the scientific process behind making this native to America spirit. Ride the fashionable Frankfort Avenue on a trolley and enjoy the free wine and snacks some boutiques offer.

Louisiana – Avery Island

If you like hot sauce, you're going to live Avery Island, the home of Tabasco. The island doesn't have hotels so you'll be staying in small B&Bs, which is always romantic. Take a trip to Jungle Gardens, a 170-acre semitropical garden. It's a favorite for naturalists, bird watchers. Enjoy the gently rolling landscape, botanical treasures and abundant wildlife. Maine – Bar Harbor

Missouri – Springfield

Springfield is the heart and soul of the Ozarks. Montana – Billings

Nevada – Las Vegas

New Jersey – Cape May

New Mexico – Taos

Bordered on three sides by the towering red peaks of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Taos is one of the few places that retain its native culture, thriving art scene and connection to the great outdoors. New York - Sag Harbor

There are many romantic hotels in the area that offer affordable deals. North Dakota – Medora

Pennsylvania – Jim Thorpe
