Top All-Mountain Skis 2013: Armada TST
ARMADA TST
This ski is an homage to the late Travis Steeger, an Armada athlete who was equally at home in the air and chest-deep in powder. It's no shocker, then, that so many reviewers gave it high marks for its surfy off-piste flotation and playful athleticism in glades and bumps. With early rise helping it float and a traditional flat tail for rock-solid stability, this is, according to OnTheSnow, "a beach party ski." We recommend you stick to powder, though, where all but the fastest, hardest-charging skiers will be happy with its performance. A portion of every TST sale goes to Travis Steeger's Memorial Fund.
Best For: Powder, and plenty of it.
