These U.S. Airports Allow Non-Fliers To Bring Loved Ones To Their Gate

This Flint, Michigan, airport is one of the first to launch an airside access program. The FNT Visitor Pass must be registered online a day before your flight.
The pass can be used once a month on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. You'll still go through the TSA checkpoint, but priority will go to ticketed individuals during peak hours.
Minors accompanying you on the visit must also be pre-registered for a pass, but they are not obligated to show proof of identification before entering the airside zone.
The Visitor Pass Program at this international airport in Michigan is more stringent than others due to its enhanced exclusivity. Only 25 passes are granted a day.
Online registration is required for all visitors at least 24 hours in advance, with limited visiting times. While same-day admittance is allowed, approval can take two hours.
Up to four family members or companions can be sponsored as well. The pass can only be used from 5 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily, but unlike others, weekends are included.
Show the pass and ID at the TSA checkpoint. While one personal item is allowed, carry-on luggage is not permitted, and there are parking rules and a separate fee.
Registration is mandatory for visitors 13 years and older and limited to one monthly visit. Visitors 12 years and under must have an adult companion with an approved Guest Pass.
