Americans are fascinated with space exploration, helping to make the U.S. Space & Rocket Center the top attraction in the state of Alabama. Almost 850,000 people visited the Huntsville site in 2018, edging out other attractions like the Birmingham Zoo and the Huntsville Botanical Garden.
