Americans are fascinated with space exploration, helping to make the U.S. Space & Rocket Center the top attraction in the state of Alabama. Almost 850,000 people visited the Huntsville site in 2018, edging out other attractions like the Birmingham Zoo and the Huntsville Botanical Garden.

More than half a million people annually visit Denali National Park to experience Alaska's pristine landscapes and diverse wildlife. One of the world's Seven Summits for mountain climbers, Denali can also be experienced from a sightseeing plane or by driving Denali Park Road.
