Hacks That Will Make Doing Laundry On Your Next RV Trip Easier
By HILARY I. LEBOW
Doing laundry in an RV can be quite a pain if you don't have a washer and dryer in your rig. Luckily, there are several ways to make laundry day less annoying.
Skip the laundry room at the RV park and head to a commercial laundromat. There, you'll be able to save time by doing multiple loads at once, and the machines will work better.
Before heading to the laundromat, RV lifer Tricia Leach says to sort your laundry by fabrics so you can stagger your folding times and make your bed with a second set of sheets.
Another pro tip from Leach is to get a fabric laundry bag that you can throw right into the machine. When everything is dry, sort the clothes by their owner as you go.
Keep all your laundry essentials in one bag and repurpose old water bottles to create smaller servings of detergent. Also, collect your dryer lint to start a campfire easily.
If you can't source a commercial laundromat, you can use a COSTWAY Portable Washing Machine at your RV site or the Scrubba Portable Wash Bag.
