The divider of Mustang Island and Padre Island, Packery Channel Beach’s southern shore offers one of the state's bucket list coastal experiences. With fewer tourists than the north shore, it’s the epitome of a traditional beach holiday and promises a calming day on the sprawling white sand shores as the clear waters of the gulf lap against the coast.
14. South Packery Channel Beach
Corpus Christi's North Beach is the ideal destination for escaping to the coast while remaining within accessible distance of fantastic restaurants, boutique shops, and activities. Beachgoers can explore the water via kayaking, snorkeling, or jetty fishing, and the Texas State Aquarium and USS Lexington Museum, are both accessible directly from the beach.
